- Art Bulletin Boards: Mount, display and take down student artwork from the bulletin boards appox. every 6 weeks. No creativity nessessary.
- Artwork Labeling: Label artwork to be displayed.
- Art Posters: Create simple caption posters for displayed artwork.
- Art Certificates: Complete congratulatory certificates for students whose artwork is on display.
- Art Frames: Remove and replace artwork displayed in the "rustic" frames displayed in school, 3 times a year.

- Masterpiece Art: Teach two 45 minute art lessons twice a year to your child's art class. All materials and instructions are provided.
- Performing Arts: Recommend/attend shows for potential JWE performances.
- Reflections: Assist with preparations for and implementation of Reflections contest and reception.

- Assist as either a presenter or parent volunteer in this educational opportunity for children to learn about a variety of careers open to them upon reaching adulthood. Presenters will speak to a group of children regarding their chosen profession. Parent volunteers wil assist in the planning and execution of this event.

- Assist our counselor in planning and executing the "Character Counts" campaign. Help publicize and set up for special events and speakers brought onto campus by our administrative team.

- Assist with food preparation, set up and serving for PTA sponsored events and functions. Provide small items and or baked goods for staff/teacher appreciation.

- Assist students with experiments several times a year. This is a science enrichment program designed to allow students to conduct "hands-on" experiments in an effort to further enhance their science curriculum. All training and supplies are provided for each one and one half hour-long experiment. Parents will be assigned a small group to work with, which wil include their own child. 3rd grade will conduct three experiments this year, 4th and 5th grade will each conduct six. Scientific expertise is not necessary.

- Assist with baskets, silent auction, bakery, ticket sales, games, decorations, dinner, entertainment, set-up and clean-up. This is a labor intensive community event requiring assistance from as many volunteers as possible.

- Assist with hallway bulletin boards for fall, winter and spring.

- Assist children in learning about and participating in the free enterprise system. Volunteers administer the developed curriculum fromthe Junior Achievement organization. The time commitment is approximately one hour a day, one day a week over a five-week period.

- (Linking Adults and Students in Self-Discovery Opportunities)
- Assist children in this center based program designed to enhance students' learning of a particular subject matter. Each grade level will experience a different theme in a one half day program created and implemented by volunteers.

- Assist with library book check-in and check-out as well as shelving, stamping, labeling, and various other library activities. Weekly/bi-weekly schedules are available.

- Assist and monitor sutdents during lunch periods. Time commitment can be one to three hours, weekly/bi-weekly.

- Assist 2nd and 3rd grade students with basic math skills. Time commitment is 30 minutes to one hour per week.

- Assist with the assembling and distribution of the weekly school newspaper, one to three hours on Tuesday mornings. Weekly/bi-weekly schedules are available.
Reading Support Volunteer Program (RSVP)-

- Assist students in grades 1st, 2nd and 3rd with one on one reading for 30 minutes to 1 hour once a week.

- Assist as part of a committee to form a schoolbook of photo memories for our children. Volunteers needed to photograph students and school events; staff and administration. Participation in decisions on yearbook cover, layout and design. Assist in the sales and distribution of the yearbook as well.
